Opeth, The Sword, Kylesa and Priums all among the over 125 confirmed acts for this years Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival held every year in Manchester, TN. This year marks the tenth year of the festival. Tickets go on sale this Saturday for the 4 day, round the clock event taking place from June 9th through the 12th.
While certainly not strictly a metal festival in any way, the addition of an act like Opeth can't go unappreciated. Although Bonnaroo started out dedicated to the folk and jam band set they have been increasingly adding some heavier and more eclectic acts in recent years. This is while other festivals like Cochella and Lollapalooza feature almost no hard rock or metal acts, snubbing them for more mainstream acts.
