According to a posting on Blabbermouth.net Australian Disc Jockey Triple J stated Van Halen management is trying to secure dates for an Australian tour. He stated that VH's manager confirmed that Eddie Van Halen did not want to tour until after the album is released in August. The new album will be the bands first with David Lee Roth since their 1984 album. It will also mark the first time the band has released an album without bassist Michael Anthony.
