Marilyn Manson has chosen Erin Broadley a former editor at the LA Weekly to write his official biography. Manson said of the book and Broadley:
“I asked Erin Broadley to write an objective account of my life because I have great respect for her. I think she has the balls to be the next Lee Miller.”
His 1998 autobiography “The Long, Hard Road Out of Hell” was a New York Times bestseller. Manson kicked off the current wave of rock and metal icons opening up and telling their story which has since included Motley Crue, Slash, Joey Kramer of Aerosmith, Lemmy, Ozzy and Dave Mustaine.
Manson and his band mates are in the studio working on his as yet untitled eighth studio record due from Cooking Vinyl Records.
