Kittie enter the studio next week to begin tracking new record.

Canadian metalers Kittie will enter Beach Road Studios next week to begin work on its sixth album due later this year via eOneMusic. The band will again work with producer Siegfried “Siggy” Meier who was at the controls for In The Black released in 2009. Commented frontwoman Morgan Lander:

We have been working exceptionally hard these cold winter months, crafting what is to be our six full-length release, and our second for eOne. In some cases these new songs are faster, darker and much more sinister than our previous release. It contains some of the most difficult and personal subject matter I have had the pleasure (or displeasure) of writing.”

Kittie's lineup is rounded out by Mercedes Lander on drums, Tara McLeod on guitar and Ivy Jenkins on bass. At four years together this has been the best, and most consistent lineup to date for the band. This will mark the first time they have  two albums in a row with the same lineup in their career.
