Alice Cooper to unviel new band line up Tonight Show With Jay Leno on March 18

Legendary shock rocker Alice Cooper is set to unveal his new band line up on Friday, March 18th, 2011 at approximately 11:35 p.m. est. on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

The original Alice Cooper Band is expected to be the new line up, at least most of the original members from the bands 70's heyday.

The Alice Cooper Band, featuring Alice Cooper (vocals) Neal Smith (drums), Michael Bruce (rhythm guitar), Dennis Dunaway (bass) and Steve Hunter (guitars) filling in for the late Glen Buxton - will perform together at their Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on March 14th in New York City, and again in Los Angeles on April 20th at the Revolver Golden God Awards. No other appearances together are planned at this time. Alice Cooper's current line-up will be officially announced next week.

As previously reported, Cooper recently completed work on his new album, Welcome II My Nightmare. According to rumors the sequel to the 1975 classic Welcome To My Nightmare will be released in September via Bigger Picture records.

According to a recent interview with Billboard.com, Cooper and producer Bob Ezrin came up with 13 songs, including the ballads 'I Am Made Of You' and 'Something To Remember Me By'. Cooper also cut three new songs with original band-mates Dennis Dunaway (bass), Neal Smith (drums) and Michael Bruce (guitar).
