Scott Ian will miss eight shows this summer when his wife Pearl Aday is due to give birth to their first child. Filling in for him during that stretch will be none other than Sepultura guitarist Andres Kisser. No word on if this will affect Sepultura's touring plans behind their forthcoming new album Kairos, due in June from Nuclear Blast.
Pearl is well known as the daughter of rock legend Meatloaf as well as a gifted singer in her own right. Her debut album Little Immaculate White Fox in 2009 was excellent and Ian is a part of her band as well.
Ian has had a busy year already busy year recording a new album and touring with Anthrax and his rock supergroup The Damned Things as well.
