Heaven & Hell drummer Vinny Appice has announced the addition of Pantera/Down bassist Rex Brown to the new band Kill Devil Hill.
Appice previously stated, “It’s a cool thing. This thing just kicks ass,” Appice said. “Unknown singer... his name is Dewey Bragg. And Mark Zavon on guitar. And Rex Brown from Pantera has played on some of the tracks.”
Kill Devil Hill’s guitarist, Mark Zavon, is known for his work with RATT, W.A.S.P. and 40 Cycle Hum. “It just kills,” Appice said. “So this will be out next year. We just hooked up management.”
The band currently has 10 demos recorded that are influenced by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Alice In Chains.
