Volbeat adds additional dates to upcoming US tour.

The Gauntlet website is reporting that Danish band Volbeat, who is about to embark on their next headline tour of America has added extra dates to the tour based on demand. The band who rose to fame touring all across Europe and later opened for Metallica on their 2009 US tour. Their latest album Beyond Hell/Above Heaven (Universal Republic) cements the bands status of rising stars with their blend of Rockabilly, Misfits influenced horror punk and thrash. Opening up the shows will be modern rock supergroup The Damned Things and Hourcast. They are also slated to appear at the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in Los Angeles on 4/20.
