ThePRP.com has reported that The Deftones will apparently perform all of their classic 1997 album Around the Fur as well as last year's acclaimed Diamond Eyes at their tour stop in Portland Oregon. The April 15th show at The Crystal ballroom is the only stop on the tour where this special performance will take place.
The Diamond Eyes headline tour features dates with openers The Dillinger Escape Plan. The Deftones continue to play with Sergio Vega (Quicksand) on bass who has stepped in for founding member Chi Cheng who is still recovering from the near comatose state he has been in since a car accident in 2009. The band is also releasing a special vinyl only covers album in conjunction Record Store Day on Saturday, April 16th.
