Possibly the hardest working guy in metal, Jamey Jasta is finally releasing his long talked about solo album this summer. Titled humbly Jasta, the album comes out in Europe on July 25 via Century Media Records. The US release will be on July 26th via eOne Music.
The one-time host of MTV2's Headbanger's Ball Jasta has recorded these tracks on and off for the last few years and since he has been busy with his many projects and touring. Jasta will feature many fellow luminaries from the world of metal such as Tim Lambesis (As I Lay Dying), pro skater Mike Vallely, Phil Labonte (All That Remains), D. Randall Blythe (Lamb of God), Mark Morton (Lamb of God) and Zakk Wylde.
Jamey's band Hatebreed just closed out the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival #13 this past weekend with a blistering 20 song set. Jamey promised fans from the stage at the end of the show that Hatebreed will return later this year with a new album followed by a lot of touring.
Jamey will present and perform this week at The 2001 Revolver Golden Gods Award show in Los Angeles.
He will also be seen this summer with Kingdom of Sorrow on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
